So do you live in Smyrna, TN?  Thinking about moving to Smyrna?  Ever wondered what happened in housing market in Smyrna last year (2011).

 There is a lot of interesting news to share about our own backyard.

1. People love Smyrna- There were 459 homes sold last year in Smyrna!  That's a lot of folks who are voting by saying Yes I want to live in Smyrna!

2. Most of the homes sold, like 277, were from $100,000 to $200,000. So this tells me that there are a ton of affordable homes being bought and sold in Smyrna.

3. There were even 96 homes that sold below $100,000. This is significant because it opened the door for many first-time home buyers the opportunity to enjoy all that Smyrna has to offer.  

The market in Smyrna and Rutherford Coutny continues to show it is resilient.  Drive down our streets, stick your head in our shops and see why so many other people, 459 of them, moved to Smyrna last year.
